Pulseoximeter "Elox" indicates continuous hemoglobin oxygen saturation (SpO2) and the values of heart rate (HR).

Model "Elox-01M" also displays photoplethysmogram, trend of hemoglobin oxygen saturation and perfusion index.

Tracking changes in the perfusion index values allows the operator:

• objectively evaluate changes in the degree of perfusion during general, epidural and local anesthesia and interpret it as a degree of peripheral vasodilatation;
• determine area with maximum perfusion for optimal location of the sensor. It is necessary to reduce the errors in determination of oxygen saturation;
• assess collateral blood flow before the arterial catheterization;
• objectively assess the level of anesthesia.
