The device provides a continuous recording and display of the electrocardiogram (ECG) in standard lead, photoplethysmogram and peripheral pulse, degree of saturation of hemoglobin in arterial blood oxygen (SpO2), heart rate (HR ), analysis of heart rate variability and diagnostic indices.

The analysis of heart rate variability includes determination of RR-intervals durations, plotting histogram distribution RR-intervals, the calculation of the statistical parameters of the distribution (mode, mode amplitude, variation range), the calculation of diagnostic indicators - sympathetic activity index and parasympathetic activity index, stress index by method introduced by R.Baevskiy.
